Ace Hardware is a local hardware store chain with locations all across the United States. Evans General Contractors (Evans) was awarded the expansion project for their Suffolk, Virginia warehouse/office location. The 138,060 SF expansion included 1,255 SF of office space with the remaining SF of floor being moderate hazard storage.
The addition added to the already 336,690 SF facility for a total of approximately 475,000 SF. The space was constructed using the non-separated, mixed-use design method, which comprised of six bays at 54-0’, 23 exterior dock doors, one new drive-in door and 55 trailer storage stalls.
